DESCRIPTION

Citra® was released by the Hop Breeding Company in 2008. It was bred as HBC 394 from a cross between Hallertauer Mittelfrüh and a father derived from US Tettnang. As the name suggest, its flavour descriptors include citrus fruits, such as lime and grapefruit, as well as other fruity characters, such as gooseberry, passion fruit, lychee and numerous other tropical fruits.
