Millennium is a high alpha acids variety bred in the John I. Haas, Inc., breeding program and released in the year 2000. Its name was chosen to mark the turn of the millennium.

Typical Aroma Profile
Millenium offers cream-caramel flavours of yoghurt and toffee. This is subtly complemented by woody notes of tobacco. Spicy nuances of sage and curry as well as fruity red berry components also contribute to the Millennium hop’s flavour profile.
*Alpha acids are determined by conductometric titration (EBC 7.4) in Europe, by spectrophotometry (ASBC Hops-6) in the USA. Oil composition is determined by gas chromatography (ASBC Hops-17, EBC 7.12).
