Boadicea BOA

Great Britain

Boadicea is a dwarf variety with a moderate Alpha content and good flavour. Boadicea is named after a celtic warrior queen who resisted the Roman invasion centuries ago, like the hop plant resists aphids.

Typical Aroma Profile

Boadicea is reminiscent of spicy herbal and woody-aromatic notes of tobacco, barrique and liquorice. Top notes of mentholic peppermint and sweet fruits produce an extraordinary aroma. The flavour spectrum is broadened by nuances of tea, lime and light floral aromas.
