Typical Aroma Profile

The aromas in Saaz hops are predominantly spicy, woody ones, such as tarragon, lavender, cedarwood and smoked bacon. In addition some floral and sweet components, such as elderberry, rose and camomile, and cream-caramel nuances of honey pleasantly round off the flavour profile.
