This variety was bred as high alpha variety in the US und released in 1961. Comet today is only grown in the Hallertau and known for its big cones and the aroma of elderflower.

This hop combines lemon, passion fruit and lemongrass aromas with guava, elderflower and quince, rounded off with resinous notes.
