El Dorado® showed up right as the craft beer movement was picking up steam. It bursts with flavors of watermelon, tropical fruit and pear. This variety contains some neomexicanus in its genes and was developed by CLS farms in Moxee in the Yakima Valley. After more than 10 years in the ground, it has become a front runner when brewing fruity IPAs, NEIPAs, American pale ales, and blond ales.

El Dorado® bursts with golden lupulin and high oil delivering sweet flavor that reminds one of hard candy of the flavors watermelon, tropical fruit and stone fruit. This complexity enriches beers when used either as a late or dry hop addition. This variety can easily be complemented with other fruit forward varieties and fits into various beer styles including IPA, hazy IPA, Lager, Blonde Ale, American Pale Ale and Cream Ale.
