The most important aroma hop variety in the Alsace region is the traditional Strisselspalt. During a breeding program Aramis was established, to create a new variety with a similar aroma profile but with increased and stable bitter potential.

Typical Aroma Profile

 

Aramis offers sweet floral aromas like jasmin but also herbal extracts, mint and hay. This variety has a sweet fruity promise of strawberries and raspberries with an expression of spicy notes, rose and lemon balm.
