Congratulations to our brewers of the BarthHaas CONCEPT BREWERY on their winning beers at the 7th Meininger International Craft Beer Award. This year, 222 beer specialities from all over the world received awards.  Our brewers created three masterpieces for this competition, which were honoured with two gold and one silver award.

With our fruity, hoppy Pale Ale, which has a typical fine, smooth hop bitterness, our brewers have brought out the full spectrum of hop aromas through a sophisticated recipe with five American hop varieties, including Cascade, Mosaic, Citra, Sabro, Bru-1. We were awarded gold for this Hopsessed Pale Ale.

Our Hoppy-Go-Lucky is a fruity, light summer ale, which, thanks to the British Ale yeast in combination with an adapted mashing process, ensures a low alcohol content of only 2.8 vol% and a pleasant, full-bodied mouthfeel. This ale was brewed with the hop variety Ariana and an experimental cultivar from the Hallertau, giving it a fruity, exotic aroma.

Our last beer, Maximalista IPA, which was brewed with the Hallertau hop variety Callista, is a special taste experience due to the enrichment of the valuable lupulin in the pellets. Among others, our beer contains aromas such as peach, orange, pear and rose.

We also congratulate all other winners of the 7th Meininger International Craft Beer Award!
