Descended from Sabro, Talus was released in 2020 by the Hop Breeding Company. Talus hops are aroma hops, usually used as late boil additions and for dry hopping - brewers also have cited that, due to the 1:1 ratio of alpha and beta acids, they create a harmonious bitterness if used earlier on. Thanks to its bold, inviting aroma of citrus and floral flavors, Talus is a popular choice for hop-forward beers and light beers like pale ales and pilsners.

Typical Aroma Profile
Pink grapefruit and tropical aromas are the mainaroma character for Talus™. These aromas are supplemented with the freshness of lime and red currants, which make it a tantalizing mixture.
*Alpha acids are determined by conductometric titration (EBC 7.4) in Europe, by spectrophotometry (ASBC Hops-6) in the USA. Oil composition is determined by gas chromatography (ASBC Hops-17, EBC 7.12).
