Propagated and named for Richard Fuggle in Kent, England in 1875, Fuggle hops are a well-established British hop with more than 150 years of history! Fuggle is an aroma hop used in late boil additions and dry hopping, where it can emit its unique woody flavors. There are Slovenian (Styrian Golding) and North American variations of Fuggle hops, each possessing slightly different characteristics. British Fuggles hops are considered a required addition to British Bitters and Pale Ales, as well as English-style milds and porters.

*Alpha acids are determined by conductometric titration (EBC 7.4) in Europe, by spectrophotometry (ASBC Hops-6) in the USA. Oil composition is determined by gas chromatography (ASBC Hops-17, EBC 7.12).
All values represent the medium range of the last 4 years. Be aware that specifically the alpha and oil values can vary in a broad range depending on the relevant crop year.
