Course Content
Flavor expert Dr. Christina Schönberger will guide you through a 90-minute tasting of eight innovative beverages from the Inspiration Range 2025. You will gain insights into the sensory properties, application ideas, and development of the range—ideal for brewers, product developers, and anyone interested in hops.
The tasting will include:
- Non-Alcoholic Lager – A non-alcoholic beer with fresh citrus, hay, and floral notes. With modern hop extracts like PHA® Topnote Marynka and PHA® water-based Citrussy, it offers full flavor without alcohol.
- Lager – A classic lager with a smooth, crisp character and hints of citrus and herbal notes. Brewed with new, resilient hop varieties such as Titan, Tango, and the new Huell Classic variety for greater supply security.
- Pale Ale – With intense notes of grapefruit, mandarin, and tropical fruits. The hop aromas come from SPECTRUM and PRYSMA™, which ensure efficiency and consistency.
- WIT – A modern witbier with flavors of bitter orange and coriander. The use of PRYSMA™ and HopHaze® achieves high brewing efficiency with consistent taste.
- Hop Water– Hop water remains popular. A non-alcoholic, sparkling drink with citrus notes, pine, and earthy undertones. Ideal for consumers looking for a clear, natural soft drink.
- Lemon Hopfusion – A modern interpretation of lemonade with hop-based flavors. PRYSMA™ Lemon gives it a fresh, botanical citrus note—light, tangy, and versatile.
- Hoppy Cider – A hybrid of apple cider and hops with citrus and tropical fruit flavors. The combination of Citra® and Eclipse hops creates a refreshing, hop-forward taste experience.
- Hop Flavored Energizer – A caffeinated soft drink with hop and citrus flavors. Developed with dsm-firmenich, it combines natural hop flavors with functional energy components for a fruity-tart kick.
