Pure harvest experience and first-hand expertise over two days on a hop farm in the Hallertau. - In addition to the theory and practical exercises on hop selection, the course will also cover procurement knowledge: the current market situation and an overview of varieties, background information on the topic of ‘spot market vs. hop contracts’ and why a quality guarantee could be vital for your brewery's survival. Finally, course participants will also be introduced to the sensory evaluation of different hop varieties, which cannot be replaced by analysis.
